Saturday, April 20, 2024 Some Serious Business will host a A Pyramid Homecoming at Baker Falls in New York City’s East Village, the first worldwide launch of the new book “We Started a Nightclub”: The Birth of the Pyramid Cocktail Lounge as Told by Those Who Lived It (Damiani, 2024) by Brian Butterick, Susan Martin, Kestutis Nakas published in association with Some Serious Business. During this star studded evening for Pyramid-lovers, performances and readings will take place by John Jesurun & Co., Eileen Dover, Holly Hughes, Hapi Phace, Kevin Malony, Susy Schneider, Ann Magnuson, Joshua Fried, Edgar Oliver, Lydia Lunch, Kristi Rose and Katy K, DJ Matt Shipp, Rimbaud Hattie with Doug Bressler, Julie Hair, John Kelly and Heather Litteer. The authors Susan Martin, Kestutis Nakas will be available to sign copies of the book available for purchasing at Baker Falls. To enter this event the advanced ticket is $ 20 or $25 the day of the show.
