Elizabeth Heyert

World-renowned architectural photographer Elizabeth Heyert built her reputation in the art world with her pioneering experimental portraiture. Her works now appear in the permanent collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, and in numerous private collections. In addition to her celebrated trilogy, her books include Metropolitan Places, one of the classic anthologies of 20th-century interior design, and The Glasshouse Years, a history of 19th-century portraiture. Heyert lives and works in downtown Manhattan.
