From September 19 to December 13, 2024, the Clark Atlanta University Art Museum will host the exhibition Free as They Want to Be: Artists Committed to Memory, based on the homonymous book by Cheryl Finley and Deborah Willis, published by Damiani in 2022. On the occasion of the exhibition, the two curators will have a conversation on October 1, 2024, at 6 pm.
