On Wednesday, September 3, 2025, Roger A Deakins and his wife and collaborator, James Ellis Deakins, will be hosted at The Cinema at Selfridges for a special screening of the masterpiece The Man Who Wasn’t There. Following the screening, Roger and James will join Charlotte Bogard Macleod for a conversation about the film and Roger’s photography book Byways (Damiani, 2021). During the event, it will also be possible to purchase the book and have copies signed by Roger and James Deakins.
