Valérie Belin

Born in Boulogne-Billancourt, France, in 1964, Valérie Belin lives and works in Paris. Belin has had solo exhibitions at the Centre Pompidou, Paris; DHC/ART, Montreal; Multimedia Art Museum, Moscow; Casa Franca-Brasi, Rio de Janeiro; and FotoMuseum Provincie, Antwerp. She has also taken part in many major group shows, notably at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, Paris; Musée d’Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris; Museum of Modern Art, New York; Seattle Art Museum; Mori Art Museum, Tokyo; National Museum of Contemporary Art Korea, Seoul; Centre Pompidou, Paris; and International Center of Photography, New York. Her work is in collections including the Centre Pompidou, Paris; Museum of Modern Art, New York; Fondation Cartier pour l’Art Contemporain, Paris; Los Angeles County Museum of Art; Kunsthaus Zurich; Maison Européenne de la Photographie, Paris; and San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, among others.
