Todd Webb

Todd Webb (1905–2000) was an American photographer known for his rich, documentary-style images that captured life across the globe. His multifaceted career included formative years in New York and Paris, a 1955 cross-country journey across America as a Guggenheim Fellow, and a five-month, UN-sponsored trip to Africa in 1958, during which he photographed in color. In 1961, Webb relocated to Santa Fe, where he created cherished portraits of his friend Georgia O’Keeffe. His work is held in major museum collections, and his legacy lives on as a masterful visual storyteller.
