Zaca Anderson
Anderson Zaca, a photographer and filmmaker, holds degrees in photography and film production. He has exhibited his work internationally and traveled widely for photo documentary assignments and commercial projects. Zaca's first book, ‘Block Party’, is a collection of photographs capturing New York City's block parties, a cultural marker of summertime. The book inspired an interactive exhibition at The Brooklyn Children's Museum, sponsored by Fuji Film and Samsung 360, which ran for six months. Zaca is currently working on a feature documentary about Carnaval, a documentary series titled 'The Darkroom MC’s', his second book 'Invasion', and a screenplay that will subsequently be turned into a feature film based on NYC culture. His commercial clients include Nike, Budweiser, Neiman Marcus, Spotify, Renault, Samsung, Rolling Stone, and Target. In 2018, he was named Best Fashion Photographer by the Visual Arts Press Awards. His work has been featured in numerous solo and group exhibits globally, along with various publications.
