Le fotografie di questo libro sono state tutte realizzate in tour. Fare tour è un esperienza disorientante, per tutta una serie di fattori: a) un’esistenza costantemente nomade e randagia; b) gli spazi anonimi (camere d’albergo, aree backstage, aeroporti), c) l’isolamento totale (camere d’albergo) alternate all’immersione in un mare di persone; d) il fatto di occupare sempre spazi artificiali creati da altri (...) Spero di essere riuscito, in queste fotografie, a trasmettere l’atmosfera della vita in tour, la banalità che si alterna a momenti disorientanti e/o sublimi. A volte ti capita di essere solo in un aeroporto senz’anima, e un attimo dopo stai volando sui paesaggi più belli del pianeta. Oppure sei tutto solo in un anonimo backstage, e un attimo dopo sei catapultato in scena davanti a 75.000 persone. I tour sono fatti di contrasti e alienazione, e nelle foto ho cercato di trasmettere tutte queste sfumature. Mi piace anche l’estetica anonima di questo modo di viaggiare. Passi il 99% del tempo in ambienti privi di vita (stanze di hotel, camerini, aeroporti), e poi a intervalli ti trovi circondato da migliaia e migliaia di estranei. I wanted to put out a book of tour photos.Touring is strange in that: a) It involves a nomadic, peripatetic daily existence; b) It solely involves anonymous spaces (hotel rooms, backstage areas, airports), c) It involves complete isolation(hotel rooms) juxtaposed with complete immersion in seas of people; d) Only about 2% of being on tour involves anything even remotely glamorous (...) I hope that somehow in these pictures I'm able to convey the mundanity of touring, juxtaposed with those moments of the strange and/or sublime. One minute on tour you're by yourself in a soul-less airport, the next minute you're flying over the most beautiful landscapes on the planet. One minute on tour you're by yourself in a soul-less backstage area, the next minute you're on stage pouring your heart out to 75,000 people. touring is all contrasts and strangeness, and that's what i'm trying to convey in these pictures. I also love the vacuum-like aesthetic of touring. 99% of the time on tour you find yourself in completely life-less environments (hotel rooms, dressing rooms, airports), and then all of a sudden you're surrounded by thousands and thousands of people”. Pursuant to Article 5 of Legislative Decree No. 185 of 22 May 1999, if the customer is a consumer (i.e. a natural person who purchases goods for purposes not related to his or her professional activity, or who makes a purchase by omitting a VAT number from the order form), he or she has the right to withdraw from the purchase contract for any reason whatsoever, without the need to provide explanations and without any penalty, within 14 working days from the day of receipt of the goods.

The right of withdrawal shall be exercised by sending, within the aforementioned term, a written notice to the geographical address of the supplier's registered office by means of a registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt. The communication may also be sent, again within the same deadline, by means of a PEC or facsimile.
The consumer shall enclose with the communication all the references of the order (order date, order number, precise references identifying the party concerned, company or private individual.
The goods you wish to return must be undamaged and in their original packaging.

The consumer must also supplement the communication with his or her complete bank details in order to obtain reimbursement of the sums paid (current account number, ABI and CAB, CIN code; for foreign countries, the BIC and IBAN codes), which will be carried out as quickly as possible and in any case within fourteen days of the date on which the supplier became aware of the consumer's exercise of the right of withdrawal. As the only charge for exercising the right of withdrawal, the consumer shall bear the direct cost of returning the goods. In the case of payment by credit card, the sums shall be returned net of bank commission charges (2.5%).

In the event of a dispute, reference will be made to the competent court.
